- Jaffar Express Attack planned from abroad, says fo.
- Terrorists linked to Afghanistan through intercepted calls.
- Pakistan prioritizes ties with Afghanistan despite concerns.
Islamabad: A day after the successful rescue operation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Thursday that India was behind the mortal terrorist attack against Jaffar Express, adding that she was orchestrated by the leadership of a terrorist organization based abroad.
Fo spokesman Shafqat Ali Khan, who addresses his weekly informative session in Islamabad, said the rescue operation for the Jaffar Express attack has been completed, and intelligence suggests that the terrorists were in contact with their associates in Afghanistan.
The statement occurs after the security forces eliminated the 33 terrorists of the Baluchistan Liberation Army (Bla) who had kidnapped the Express Jaffa that led to more than 400 passengers, which were taken as hostages.
The military has said that all hostages have been released, but the terrorists were martyred by the terrorists before the authorization operation began. In addition, four FC staff were also martyred during the attack in the Mushqaf area of the Bolan district.
The spokesman of the Foreign Ministry added that the intercepted calls confirmed the links between the attackers and Afghanistan. “Terrorists have safe shelters in Afghanistan, and Pakistan has repeatedly urged the Afghan government to prevent groups such as Bla from using their soil for terrorism,” he said.
He also mentioned that Pakistan does not discuss diplomatic contacts in public forums, but has constantly shared detailed evidence of such incidents with Afghanistan.
He stressed that the main approach of Pakistan remains to strengthen friendly and close ties with Afghanistan, while contractorism remains a key area of cooperation with international partners.
After the operation, Lieutenant General of Public Relations of the Director General Inter-Services, Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, said that Jaffer Express incident changed the rules of the game.
“Whoever has done this will be persecuted and taken before justice,” he added. He added that the terrorists had nothing to do with Islam, Pakistan and Baluchistan.
In a statement, the ISPR said that intelligence reports have unequivocally confirmed that the attack was orchestrated and directed by terrorist ring leaders operating from Afghanistan, that they were in direct communication with terrorists throughout the incident.
