Pakistan achieves economic stability as inflation falls to 5%: PM Shehbaz


Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif says that Pakistan is rapidly progressing on economic, foreigners and military fronts and now the country will move towards economic growth and improvement.

Speaking with Pakistani abroad in the high commission of Pakistan in London, Prime Minister Shehbaz said that all the achievements made by the current government are the result of sincerity, hard work and team effort and all played their role in achieving the objectives.

The prime minister praised that “Pakistan has gained dignity and respect among the community of the nations. He recalled that Pakistan won the war and defeated his enemy, gaining greater respect in the world.”

Referring to his speech at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), Shehbaz said he represented the people of Pakistan, argued their case and reflected their feelings.

He pointed out that in his speech, he vociferantly highlighted the problems of Kashmir and Palestine. The prime minister commented that Gaza’s people face oppression and brutality that had never been seen in the world before. Prime Minister Shehbaz believes that the meeting of Arab-Islamic countries, chaired by the president of the United States, Donald Trump, will produce encouraging results on the issue of Gaza.

The prime minister declared that he held another constructive and productive meeting with President Trump in Washington in a cordial atmosphere. He said the meeting would serve as a springboard for greater strengthening of relations with the United States.

Appreciating the Pakistani abroad, said they are a beautiful asset, great ambassadors of Pakistan and are serving their country with vitality.

Speaking on the occasion, the Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, ISHAQ Dar, said that during the UN General Assembly session, the prime minister effectively represented Pakistan’s position on regional and world problems.

He said that eight countries, including five Arab countries, namely Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Jordan and Egypt and three non -Arab Muslim countries, including Pakistan, Turkiye and Indonesia, held the meeting with the president of the United States and discussed the issue of Gaza.

He said that after the initial meeting, subsequent meetings would continue and produce a positive result on the issue of Gaza, which would be shared with the nation.

Give said that economic stability has now been achieved; The interest rate depends on 11 percent and inflation decreased to five percent of 30 percent. “The government is making an effort to take Pakistan forward.”

Meanwhile, Pakistani delegations abroad met with the Prime Minister of the High Commission of Pakistan. The Pakistani abroad expressed their appreciation for the discourse of the Prime Minister in the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly and paid tribute to him for presenting Pakistan’s point of view effectively.

They said that Kashmir’s problem stood out worldwide due to the way in which the prime minister raised the matter in the United Nations General Assembly.
