Islamabad:
Despite the growing tensions in the region, Pakistan’s airspace remains completely operational and continues to be used effectively by international airlines, according to the Pakistan airport authority.
In a statement published on Thursday, the authority confirmed that international flights do not face obstacles while traveling through Pakistani airspace. “There are no interruptions in the air traffic flow. All international and national flights are handled without problems and safely,” the statement said.
“Additional air traffic due to the route change in nearby regions is being handled professionally and routinely,” he added.
