Meanwhile, Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan also called on Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf at Naval Headquarters in Islamabad. Upon arrival, the visiting dignitary was received by the naval chief.

According to the ISPR, the discussions focused on “matters of mutual professional interest, the evolution of the regional security paradigm and avenues to further strengthen bilateral defense cooperation.”

Admiral Naveed Ashraf highlighted Pakistan Navy’s commitment to regional maritime peace and stability through its various initiatives. The Bangladesh Air Chief acknowledged the high professional standards of the Pakistan Navy and expressed his desire to enhance collaboration between the armed forces of the two brotherly nations.

“The dignitaries agreed on the importance of increasing the frequency of high-level exchanges and joint training exercises to foster greater synergy,” the statement said.

The ISPR said the Bangladesh Air Force chief’s visit underlined the deepening of defense ties between Pakistan and Bangladesh, following Admiral Naveed Ashraf’s visit to Dhaka in late 2025.
