Pakistan and China have agreed to improve the exchange of intelligence and security cooperation, after a high -level meeting between Pakistan Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, and his Chinese counterpart, Qiu Yanjun, in Beijing.
During the meeting, discussions focused on ensuring borders for paramilitary forces and improving cooperation in this regard. Both parties also deliberated about the use of advanced technology for police and paramilitary forces.
The two officials conducted detailed discussions about the acquisition of modern equipment and technology from China to strengthen the application agencies of Pakistan’s law.
Mohsin Naqvi emphasized that Pakistan would acquire technology and cutting -edge equipment to improve police capacities.
In addition, both countries agreed to strengthen the collaboration between the National Police Academy and improve cooperation between the Beijing and Islamabad police forces.
The leaders expressed satisfaction with the progress held at the January meeting of the Joint Working Group.
The high -level discussion between the two ministers lasted two hours.
On this occasion, Mohsin Naqvi extended an official invitation to his Chinese counterpart to Vispakistan.
