Islamabad:
The foreign ministers of Pakistan and China agreed on Wednesday to further reinforce their bilateral cooperation to promote regional peace, stability and development.
Senator Ishaq Dar and Wang Yi met outside the meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Tianjin and reviewed bilateral ties and discussed regional and international development.
The meeting took place before Giving finished his three -day trip to China, where he went to attend the meeting of the Council of SCO Foreign Ministers.
A statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Senator Mohammad Ishaq, met with China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi, reaffirmed the commitment of the two countries to strengthen their strategic association.
Giving congratulated Wang Yi for the successful organization of the Meeting of Foreign Ministers of SCO and expressed its gratitude for the warm hospitality extended by China during the event.
The two leaders maintained broad discussions on issues of mutual interest, including progress in the China-Pakistan economic corridor (CPEC) and improved multilateral cooperation.
Underlining the importance of the Strategic Cooperative Association of Pakistan-China for all climate, both parties expressed their satisfaction for their close collaboration in several fields.
They also reiterated their resolution to further reinforce bilateral ties to promote regional peace, stability and development.
The two ministers also discussed the next visit of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif took China.
The prime minister is ready to attend the meeting of SCO Heads of Government at the end of August, but will also meet with President Xi Jinping.
According to officials familiar with development, the prime minister will be accompanied by the field marshal Syed also Munir.

In a related development, the deputy director of the Indian Army personnel recently said that India was involved in a two -front conflict, while indicating Chinese participation in Pakistan’s military success.

Meanwhile, Foreign Minister returned to Islamabad after concluding a successful two -day visit to China for the Council of Foreign Ministers of the OCS, according to his office.

China’s Foreign Minister said on Wednesday that China was willing to deepen cooperation with Pakistan in agriculture, industry and mining, while gathered with its Pakistani counterpart in Tianjin, according to a Chinese statement.
China “supports Pakistan in the realization of their anti -terrorist operations” and believes that Pakistan “would do everything possible” to guarantee the safety of Chinese personnel, projects and institutions in Pakistan, China’s foreign minister, Wang Yi, told Ishaq to give Pakistan.
