Pakistan and China reiterated on Sunday their commitment to regional peace and stability, while jointly opposing unilateralism and hegemonic policies.
The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohammad Ishaq Dar, held a telephone conversation with Wang Yi, a member of the Political Office of the CPC Central Committee and China’s Foreign Minister to discuss the current regional situation.
The two leaders agreed to maintain close communication and coordination at all levels to advance their shared objectives of peace, security and sustainable development, said the foreign office of Pakistan.
Giving categorically rejected the “unilateral and illegal actions” of India and dismissed what he described as “propaganda without foundation” against Pakistan.
By expressing the appreciation for the “consistent and unwavering support of China”, giving reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to the “iron -dressed” friendship of the two countries and their shared vision of a strategic cooperative association for all climate.
He also emphasized Pakistan’s determination to further deepen bilateral cooperation in all sectors.
The conversation occurs in the midst of augmented regional tensions after recent developments in JAMMU and assignment of illegally occupied.
Earlier this week, Pakistan warned that he would deliver a “firm, fast and decisive” response to any Indian aggression, after New Delhi unilaterally suspended the swing of the Indo’s waters after a deadly attack in the disputed Kashmir.
The assault of April 22 in Pahalgam, Iiojk left 26 people dead, mostly tourists.
India responded suspending the 1960 Indo Water Treaty, closing its borders, degrading the diplomatic ties and accusing Pakistan, without evidence, of support of cross -border terrorism.
Pakistan has strongly denied any participation and threatened the countermeasures, including the placement of the Simla Agreement in bees and the closure of its airspace to Indian flights.
In a Senate resolution, legislators declared that Pakistan “remains totally capable and prepared to defend their sovereignty and territorial integrity against any aggression,” citing past military responses as precedents.
The Senate also warned that any Indian misfortune would meet a decisive response, while reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to regional peace and support for the right of Kashmir to self -determination.
