Pakistan, China to improve Intel exchange


Islamabad:

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met with his Chinese counterpart Qi Yanjun during his visit to China.

Both parties agreed to improve intelligence exchange further.

During the meeting, both parties also discussed cooperation to further ensure the border between the two countries. In addition, the use of modern technology for police and paramilitary forces was also discussed.

A detailed discussion was held on the acquisition of modern equipment and technology for the China Police.

Naqvi said Pakistan will buy modern technology and equipment for China.

During the meeting, cooperation with the National Police Academy was also discussed. It was decided to increase cooperation between Beijing Police and Islamabad Police. Both parties also expressed satisfaction on the joint meeting of the working group held in January.

The meeting between Interior Minister and his Chinese counterpart lasted two hours.

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also invited his Chinese counterpart to visit Pakistan.
