Islamabad:
The Ultra High Capacity Submarine Cable, Africa-1, has successfully made its land at the Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) landing site in View Beach, Karachi.
The Consortium of Africa-1 comprising telecommunications companies, including Mobily (Saudi Arabia), E & (EAU), G42 (EAU), Telecom Egypt, Zain Omar International (Zoi), Algérie Télécom, Teleyemen and other global service providers.
The cable system covers 10,000 kilometers and will link Pakistan with Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Sudan, Algeria, France, Kenya and Djibouti.
