Pakistan considers the proposal to gather the tractors of beamorusia locally

A proposal has been discussed to gather the scratches of Belarus in Pakistan in a meeting chaired by the special assistant of the Prime Minister on Industries and Production, Haroon Akhtar Khan. The session was attended by representatives of Margalla Heavy Industries Ltd, Heavy Industries Taxila and Green Corporate Initiatives.

The plan under consideration requires assembly from 57 to 80 horsepower horses of Belarusian tractors using completely demolished kits imported from abroad. According to shared figures at the meeting, the demand for such tractors in Pakistan could reach around 2,800 units in the next five years.

The participants also pointed out that some investors had already shown interest in supporting the initiative, with calls to a broader commitment of the private sector.

The interested parties present described the proposal as an opportunity to expand the availability of agricultural machinery in the country. They highlighted the potential to strengthen agricultural mechanization, reduce the dependence of completely constructed imports and promote industrial cooperation with Belarus.

At the same time, the discussions made it clear that the project remains in a preliminary stage. The key questions, such as the investment level, the production scale and the deadline for operations, have not yet been resolved. An announcement was not made about when the Assembly could begin, and more consultations are expected before finishing decisions.

The proposal comes at a time when the Pakistan tractor industry continues to experience pressure on fluctuating demand, the increase in costs and limitations of the supply chain. The introduction of a new assembly option, suggested the participants, could provide an alternative for farmers and contribute to market stability.

The officials and representatives of the company agreed that the way to follow will depend on the concrete commitments of the investors and the clarity of the terms of collaboration. Until these details are determined, the plan remains a proposal under discussion.
