Pakistan Crush Korea South 91-6 for Third Consecutive Victory in the Netball Juventud event


The Netball Youth Team of Pakistan continued its dominant career in the Asian Youth Netball Championship 2025, crushing the hosts of South Korea 91-6 on Sunday to ensure its third consecutive victory and overcome the classification of Group B.

Green shirts dominated from the beginning, leading 23-2 in the first quarter and extending the margin to 45-3 in the half time. For the third quarter, the marker said 70-4 before Pakistan concluded the game in 91-6.

The outstanding performances came from Leya Raza Shah, Alisha Naveed, Halema, Sarina Hussain, Jasmine Farooq, Farah Rasheed, Amani, Parisa, Sumayya Ahmed and Alina, who contributed to the emphatic victory.

Pakistan had previously defeated Saudi Arabia 71-15 on Friday and Chinese Taipei 56-32 on Saturday. The team now faces Japan on Monday and the Maldives on Tuesday.

The Netball Federation of Pakistan extended thanks to Chief Coach Amanda Newton, praising her “exceptional training, technical experience and unwavering dedication” through a publication on social networks, pointing to her role in the continuous success of the team.

The championship, held at the Jeonju Hwasan gym from June 27 to July 4, presents 11 nations divided into two groups.

Eleven teams participate in the championship and are divided into two groups.

Group A: Malaysia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong and India

Group B: Taipei Chino, Japan, Korea, Pakistan, Maldives and Saudi Arabia.
