Islamabad:
Pakistan on Monday rejected the Declaration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MEA) of the Ministry of India with respect to the comments attributed to the chief of the Master of the Army Field also, qualifying it as “immature” and a distortion of the facts.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the Indian narrative of alleged “nuclear blackmail” was “misleading and selfish” and that Pakistan remained firmly opposite to the use or threat of use of force.
“Sabre’s noise from India and always confronted war invite unfounded accusations without rationality,” said the FO spokesman in a statement.
The spokesman emphasized that Pakistan is a “state of nuclear weapon responsible with a command and control structure elaborated under total civil control” and has always exercised “discipline and moderation” in matters of such importance.
The FO also rejected what it called “huster insinuations” on the anti -terrorism record of Pakistan, saying that the “sustained and credible” efforts of the country were recognized internationally and their security forces “remain the bubler against terrorism.”
He expressed concern about the reference of the MEA India to the “third countries”, describing it as a “useless attempt” to involve other states and an indication of the “lack of diplomatic confidence” of India.
