Islambad: Pakistan has categorically dismissed the claims of the Indian media citing the Vice Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, said that Islamabad had requested a high fire after a recent confrontation with India.

The archirrival neighbors with nuclear weapons had been involved in a serious military confrontation after the missile attacks not caused by India against the objectives within the Pakistani territory last month.

Pakistan’s army launched a retaliation operation called Bunyan Um Marsoos (Iron Wall) to counteract the Indian aggression, which New Delhi described as an answer to the alleged Pakistani participation in the attack against tourists in Jammu and Pahalgam of Jammu and Kashmir in April.

Both countries suffered losses of life and property, while the Pakistan Air Force broke down at least six Indian combat planes, including expensive French airplanes, Rafale, while successfully defended the country’s territorial integrity.

The 87 -hour conflict, which raised the fears of a nuclear war between the two countries, finally ended in a high fire negotiated by the United States. Since then, India has repeatedly affirmed that Pakistan had first contacted the US to request a detention in the fight, a claim that Islamabad has denied vehemently.

“We categorically reject the statements that Pakistan sought a stop the fire after Indian aggression,” said the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a statement issued Friday night.

The spokesman said that DPM Dar, in his interviews and media statements, had explained that Pakistan decisively responded to Indian aggression in the exercise of his right to self -defense.

He explained that the friendly states, including Saudi Arabia, and particularly the United States, played a crucial role in facilitation of the high fire between Pakistan and India.

“The sequence of events clearly demonstrates that Pakistan did not start or ask anyone to stop the fire, but agreed when the United States Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, called to give at 8:15 am on May 10, 2025, and reported that India is ready for fire if Pakistan is arranged,” the spokesman recalled.

The FO also declared that the FM confirmed the consent of Pakistan for the proposal. He said that later around 9 am, Prince FM Saudi Faisal also called to give and reported the same about India and looked for the same confirmation that Secretary of State Marco Rubio had sought before.

The president of the United States is in a registry by reiterating its position and has even offered media in the long cashmere dispute between the two countries, a position also highlighted by the United States Department of State.

Although Pakistan has praised and accredited President Trump for his role in Alto El Fuego, which he himself has highlighted on multiple occasions, India has denied any participation of the United States.
