Islamabad:
The Pakistan ambassador to the Netherlands, Syed Haider Shah, made an oral statement before the International Court of Justice (ICI), in Thursday’s Hague, highlighting the atrocities committed by Israel in the Palestinian territory occupied particularly occupied in Gaza.
He made the statement at the Public Hearing on the request of an advisory opinion on Israel’s obligations in relation to the presence and activities of the United Nations, other international organizations and third states in and in relation to the occupied Palestinian territory.
He stressed that Israel’s behavior towards the agency of relief and UN works for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) reflected one of the most atrocious infractions of the privileges and immunities of an international organization in the history of the United Nations.
It condemned in the most solid terms possible the attempt of Israel to dismantle the operations of the UNRWA in the occupied Palestinian territory, qualifying a shameless violation of international law and part of the systematic campaign of Israel to deny the very necessary humanitarian aid to millions of Palestinians in the need for bad need.
