Pakistan’s ranking in the world of happiness in the 2025 report has submerged slightly, falling to 109 of the 108th last year. Despite the decrease, the country continues to classify higher than its regional neighbors, India and Afghanistan, which are found in 118 and 147, respectively.
Published by Gallup and its partners, the annual report classifies 147 countries according to their levels of happiness, evaluated through population surveys that measure the quality of life from 2022 to 2024.
South Asia Performance
In the region, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka take place 133 and 134, while they will, despite organizing a 3.9%refugee population, is better in 99º. China leads Asia with a strong performance in position 27.
Global classifications
Finland continues its reign as the happiest country in the world, followed by Denmark and Iceland. Other nations in the Top 15 include Sweden, the Netherlands, Costa Rica and Norway.
