Pakistan joins ‘Global Sumud Flotilla’ for Gaza Aid


A Pakistani delegation member of three Six, which includes doctors, media professionals and social leaders, participates in the Sumud Global flotilla, an international mission aimed at breaking the siege of Gaza and providing urgent humanitarian and medical assistance to the Palestinians.

This was announced by the leader of the Palestine Forum of Pakistan, Wahaj Ahmed, during a press conference at the National Press Club Islamabad, along with Dr. Osama Riaz, Ismail Khan, Syed Aziz Nizami and Fahad Ishtiaq, which are part of the delegation, according to a press release issued last week.

Ahmed also said that several prominent and active pro-elastine organizations in Pakistan have formed an alliance called Pakistan Palestinian Action Coalition, which includes the Tehreek block, the Pak Palestine forum, the Shaab Abi Talib Foundation, youth Link Pakistan, Pakistan for Palestine, together for Al-Quds and others.

The members of the delegation promised to highlight the Israeli atrocities and remain in solidarity with the Palestinians, expressing their disposition to make any sacrifice for the cause. Delegations from 44 countries participate in the mission, which also includes human rights activists and medical experts.
