Islamabad:
Pakistan and Saudi Arabia signed a “historical strategic defense agreement on Wednesday, stating that” any aggression against any country will be considered an aggression against both “, according to a joint statement by PAK-SAUDI.
The pact was signed during the visit of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to Riad by invitation of the Saudi Heir Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz to the Saud.

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have the strategic and defense cooperation of long data, but the last pact is considered significant in the context of recent developments, including Israeli strikes in Qatar.
However, a Saudi official told Reuters that the agreement was not intended to respond to any specific event reflected the long strategic cooperation between Islamabad and Riad.

Previously, the prime minister was escorted by the Air Force Air Force when his plane entered the Saudi airspace, in a rare gesture.
