Pakistan leaders, roles commanders in Marka-E-Haq

President Asif Ali Zardari gave on Thursday the best civil and military awards to national leaders, military commanders and government officials in recognition of their services during Marka-E-HAQ, where Pakistan inflicted a humiliating defeat to India.

In a ceremony held in Aiwan-E-Sadr, the head of Army Personnel (COAS), the Syed Field Marshal also received the Hilal-E-Jurat for leading the Pakistan army from the front and formulating the war strategy, while Chief Air Mariscal Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sidhu was awarded the Hilal-Eimetiaz.

The president of the President’s personnel chief committee, Sahir Shamshad Mirza, head of the Naval Personnel, the Admiral, Naveed Ashraf, received the conferred Nishan-E-Iimtiaz, and the DG ISI LT Gen As As As As As As As As As As As As As As As As As As As As As As As As As As As As As As As As As As As As As As As As As as As as as as as.

General Director of Military Operations (DGMO) of Major General of Pakistan Kashif Abdullah, the aircomantal of Aire Aurengzeb Ahmed and the rear admiral Shahzad Hamid received the Tamgha-E-Basalat.

Among the political leadership, Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, head of the Parliamentary Diplomatic Committee, the president of the Popular Party of Pakistan (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the Minister of Law Azam Nazeer Tarar, the Minister of Defense Khawaja Asif, and the advisor of PM, Sanaullah, presented themselves to Nishan-E-E-iimtan.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, ministers and parliamentarians, Ahsan Iqbal, Sherry Rehman, Faisal Sabzwari, Musadik Malik and Hina Rabbani Khar, along with Tariq Fatemi and Khurram Dastgir Khan, were also decorated with civil awards.

The information minister, Attaullah Tarar, received the Nishan-E-Imtiaz for effectively projecting the National Narrative of Pakistan internationally during the recent Pakistan-India tensions, counteracting Indian propaganda and guaranteeing a coordinated civil-military information strategy.
