Islamabad: Pakistan is observing today the day of solidarity of Kashmiro to express unwavering support for the fight of the people of Kashmir for self -determination as promised in the resolutions of the United Nations.
The day is marked by a holiday every year on February 5, with solidarity walks throughout the country and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
Pakistan is in solidarity with the people of illegally occupied India Jammu and Kashmira (Iiojk), with a renewed commitment to his fair struggle for the freedom of Indian subjugation.
In Islamabad, a demonstration will be held in Constitution Avenue. At 10 am, the mermaids will sound, and a minute of silence will be observed in tribute to the martyrs of Kashmir.
Posters and advertising fences have been placed that highlight the difficult situation of the assholes in key locations, including airports and railroad stations.
In Muzaffarabad, the AJK Legislative Assembly will celebrate a special session to express solidarity with those of illegally occupied India Kashmir (Iiojk).
The human chains will be formed in Mangla, Kohala, Barkot, Azad Pattan and Hollar, symbolizing the unity between Pakistan and Ajk. A special function in Mangla Bridge will be carried out in Mirpur, with similar events planned in the districts of Kotli and Bhimber.
In his message about Kashmir Solidarity Day, President Asif Ali Zardari said that this day reminds the international community of his responsibility for the people of Oppressed Cashmir.
He said that the United Nations should honor the promises made to the Kashmir 78 years ago and support their struggle for their right to self -determination.
On the occasion, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that the Government and people of Pakistan annually observed the ‘daytime solidarity day’ to renew their firm support to the people of Cashmiro and the legitimate struggle for realizing their right to self -determination .
He said that for the sake of lasting peace in southern Asia, the international community should urge India to allow the people of Kashmir The local people.
“Recent developments in the Middle East showed that long -standing disputes should not afford to be agitated,” the prime minister said in a message about Kashmir Solidarity.
A statement issued by Prime Minister’s office cited Prime Minister Shehbaz saying: “The right to self -determination is a fundamental principle of international law. Every year, the UN General Assembly adopts a resolution that emphasizes the legal right of people to decide your own destiny. ”
The prime minister said that the people of Cashmiro had not been able to exercise this correct, despite the approval of the last seventy -eight years.
“Today, illegally occupied Indians Jammu and Kashmir (Iiojk) are still one of the most militarized areas in the world. Cashmirs live in an environment of fear and intimidation.”
The prime minister said that political activists and human rights defenders faced a prolonged arrest and confiscation of property, adding political parties, which represent the genuine aspirations of the people of Cashmiro, had been prohibited. The intention of these oppressive measures was to crush the dissent, he added.
The prime minister also said that India was also taking measures to consolidate his illegal occupation of Iiojk.
“After their illegal and unilateral actions of August 5, 2019, India’s efforts have been aimed at demographic and politicians of engineering so that the asshoers become a community without power in their own land,” he added.
The prime minister reiterated that Jammu and Kashmir’s dispute would remain a key pillar of his foreign policy.

The armed forces reaffirm support for purse
President of the President Personnel Heads Committee (CJCSC) General Sahir Shamshad, the Heads of Services and the Pakistan armed forces also reaffirmed their unwavering support for the resistant people of Iiojk in their struggle for self -determination, public relations between services ( ISPR) said.
They also paid tribute to the indomitable spirit of the people of Kashmir, who have supported decades of oppression, brutality sponsored by the State and atrocious violations of human rights.
“Its unwavering resolution against tyranny remains a lighthouse of courage and inspiration for the entire nation,” said the military media wing statement.
The military media wing said that the Pakistan armed forces strongly condemn the serious violations of human rights in IIOJK, including extrajudicial murders, forced disappearances and arbitrary arrests.
These transgressions stand out as a marked accusation of the unpleasant contempt of India for international law, humanitarian principles and fundamental human rights, he added.
