Pakistan, Morocco Start the Execution of Setbuster to boost defense cooperation

The armed forces of Pakistan and Morocco began the third edition of their bilateral military exercise set on Monday, focusing on anti -terrorism training and the improvement of professional skills, according to a statement from the military media wing of Pakistan, public relations between services (ISPR).

The opening ceremony took place at the Cherrat Special Operations School, a military training center located in the mountainous field of the Nowhera district of Northwest Pakistan.

The exercise, entitled Pak-Morocco Bilateral Military Exercise-2025, brings together the ELITE ELITE Special Services Group of Pakistan (SSG) and the Moroccan Special Forces. The objective, said ISPR, is to encourage interoperability, exchange tactical experience and reinforce long -standing defense ties between the two nations.

“The exercise aims to refine professional skills through joint training and take advantage of military historical relations among friendly countries,” ISPR said in a statement.

Pakistan shares a story of warm diplomatic and military relations with several Arab countries, including Morocco. These ties often translate into joint training exercises, associations of defense production and exchange of anti -terrorist intelligence.

Last year, the collaboration extended to the aerospace domain, when the Moroccan Air Force inspector, General Mohammed Gadi visited Pakistan and discussed the expansion of military cooperation. During his visit, the Chief of the Pakistan Air Force reaffirmed the country’s commitment to offer basic and tactical training programs to Moroccan staff.

The current military exercise is seen as another step to strengthen defense diplomacy and operational coordination between the two Islamic nations.
