Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi arrived in Muscat in an official one -day visit to discuss better cooperation with Oman in the fight against drug trafficking and human smuggling.
Upon arriving at the airport, Naqvi was welcome by senior officials of the Interior Ministry of Oman, including Secretary Khalid Bin Hilal Bin Saud al-Busaidi, Pakistan’s ambassador to Oman Syed Safdar Bokhari and other dignitaries.
In a meeting with Secretary Al-Busidi, Naqvi expressed Pakistan’s intention to expand cooperation with Oman in the counter-mirror initiatives and antihuman traffic.
Al-Busidi welcomed Naqvi hotly and recognized the importance of bilateral coordination.
Mohsin Naqvi is scheduled to meet with other senior officials in Oman during his stay. Meetings are expected to address the regional situation, and NAQVI informs the Odeni authorities about Pakistan’s position on current developments.
