The Ministry of Education and Professional Training of Pakistan has been working on a new educational policy to train at least one million young people annually with adequate technical skills for employment in the Gulf region, including Saudi Arabia.

In addition, the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) has proposed an association with the Pakistani government to provide training programs to equip Pakistani young people with “modern and relevant skills” required by the Saudi labor market, according to Prime Minister’s Office Shehbaz Sharif.
