Pakistan Railways has announced a reduction of rates for passengers with a 20% discount on train tickets during the holiday period for Eidul Fitr, said Express News.
According to a notification issued by Pakistan Railways, the 20% discount will apply to all mail, express and intercity trains in the first three days of Eidul Fitr. However, the discount will be available only for these specific days and will not extend beyond that.
In addition, rates reduction will also apply to early reserves made during this period, offering passengers a new incentive. However, it is important to keep in mind that this discount will not be applicable to special EID trains.
Pakistan Railways has instructed all reserve offices to strictly implement this discount, ensuring that passengers can make the most of rates reduction during EID celebrations.
