Pakistan reaffirms the commitment to strengthen ties with us


Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to strengthen his relationship with the United States during a meeting with the US Boker’s ship in Islamabad on Tuesday.

The prime minister emphasized the importance of close cooperation between Pakistan and the United States, particularly in the areas of anti-terrorism, to address emerging threats raised by groups such as Daesh and Fitna al-Khawarij.

“Pakistan and the United States should continue working closely, especially in the anti -terrorism domain,” he said, underlining the need for sustained collaboration to combat shared security challenges.

In addition to security concerns, Prime Minister Shehbaz stressed the importance of expanding trade and cooperation in areas that include you, agriculture, health, education and energy.

He expressed a strong desire to improve bilateral ties and emphasized that these areas of mutual interest offer significant opportunities for greater collaboration.

In his comments, Natalie Baker thanked Prime Minister Shehbaz for the warm reception and transmitted the intention of the US administration to work with Pakistan towards the shared objectives.

“The new administration undertakes to work with Pakistan to strengthen our bilateral relationship and pursue common objectives,” Baker said.
