Pakistan rejects the ‘great Israel’ plan


Islamabad:

The spokesman of the Foreign Ministry, Ambassador Shafqat Ali Khan, categorically condemned and rejected the recent statements of the Israeli occupation power that suggests the creation of a so -called “great Israel” and plans for the forced displacement of Palestinians of Gaza.

Ambassador Khan, in a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs here, said that this rhetoric was a shameless violation of international law, the UN letter and the relevant resolutions of the United Nations. He urged the international community to “directly reject” these provocative notions, which warned that they aimed to strengthen the illegal occupation of Israel and undermine all efforts towards lasting peace in the region.

“These statements demonstrate the complete contempt of occupation power by international efforts and reveal their intention to increase instability in the region,” said the spokesman, requested immediate and concrete action to stop the crimes and atrocities on the current of Israel against the Palestinian people.

Pakistan also expressed a deep pain for the tragic loss and damage caused by the recent cloud in Kishtwar, Iiojk. “We extend our sincere condolences to the afflicted families and pray for the rapid recovery of the injured,” added the spokesman.
