Pakistan, Thailand to expand ties


Islamabad:

The DPM/FM senator, Ishaq Dar, met Wednesday with Thailand Foreign Minister Maris Sangiampongsa, apart from high -level events during Pakistan’s presidency of the UN Security Council.

The two leaders expressed their satisfaction with the positive impulse in bilateral ties, particularly in cultural and parliamentary exchanges, people contacts to people, commerce and tourism, said the press release of the DPM office.

They agreed to expand cooperation in several areas that include food security, fishing, defense and regional connectivity.

FM Maris congratulated Pakistan for his presidency of the CSNU and appreciated his contributions to the work of the Council.
