Pakistan, the EAU reaffirm the resolution to increase ties

Pakistan and the EAU have reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthen bilateral ties, particularly in business areas, infrastructure development, culture and contacts of people to people.

This understanding was reached during a meeting between President Asif Ali Zardari and the heir prince of Abu Dhabi and president of the Executive Council of Abu Dhabi, on Thursday Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed, in Aiwan-E-Sadr.

President of the Popular Party of Pakistan Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, First Lady/MNA ASEEFA Bhutto Zardari, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar and senior government officials attended the meeting.

When welcoming the heir prince, the president said that Pakistan and the EAU enjoyed the long people of people and cultural ties that cover more than three generations, and emphasized the need to transmit this legacy to future generations to further consolidate the historical link.

The president appreciated the remarkable development achieved by the EAU under his dynamic leadership. He expressed the appreciation of Pakistan for the unwavering support of the EAU to Pakistan and cooperation in several sectors. He emphasized the importance of promoting narrower economic and commercial relations and invited EAU investors to explore new opportunities in Pakistan’s emerging sectors.

His highness Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed reiterated Eau’s commitment to improve their cooperation with Pakistan. He said the Mous signed during his visit reflected the confidence and lasting relations between the two countries.

Later, the president conferred the Nishan–Pakistan prize to Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed al Nahyan in recognition of his services and unwavering support for Pakistan during a special investment ceremony in AIWAN-E-SADR.

Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed had been essential to promote economic, commercial and investment cooperation between Pakistan and the EAU, in addition to playing a fundamental role in strengthening fraternal and long -standing relationships.

His leadership facilitated the announcement of important investment initiatives in the economy of Pakistan, aimed at promoting key sectors such as infrastructure, energy, medical care and technology, which contribute to Pakistan’s socioeconomic progress.
