Islamabad:
The Deputy Prime Minister/Minister of Foreign Affairs, Senator Ishaq Dar, received a call from the Secretary of State of the United States, Marco Rubio, and discussed matters of mutual interest.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two leaders expressed their satisfaction with the positive trajectory of the ties of Pakistan-United States and discussed the recent regional and international developments.
They reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthen bilateral relations in multifaceted cooperation areas.

The DPM/FM senator, Ishaq Dar, received a phone call from the Egyptian Foreign Minister, Dr. Badr Abdelatty.
“Both leaders firmly condemned the illegal strikes not caused Israelis in Doha and discussed the modalities and details of the next Council of OIC Foreign Ministers in Doha, scheduled for Sunday, September 14,” said the spokesman for the foreign office in a statement.
Israel pointed to Hamas leaders on Tuesday on strikes in the capital of Qatar, killing five Hamas members and a Qatar security officer. The attack caused a generalized international condemnation, even of the allied Gulf monarchies with the United States.
