Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif said Sunday on Sunday that Pakistan would continue to extend his political, diplomatic and moral support to the people of Jammu and Kashmira, who were fighting a struggle to gain their right to self -determination and freedom.
In a message on the occasion of the day of the Kashmir Mártirs, observed on July 13, he said: “The day is observed every year to pay tribute to the 22 Cashmiris who sacrificed their lives on July 13, 1931, while protesting against the forces of Dogra of Jammu and Kashmir.”
“It serves as a reminder of inherent firmness, resistance against brutal forces and unwavering resolution of Kashmir Muslims.
The struggle for freedom, human rights and the rights of Kashmiro has been happening throughout the history of Kashmir, “said the prime minister.
“The people of Cookmira have been and are sacrificing their lives in their legitimate struggle for the right to self -determination.
“The Pakistan government expresses its political, diplomatic and moral support in solidarity with the Muslims of Jammu and Kashmir, which is illegally occupied by India.
“We greet the courage and determination of all the Kashmir martyrs who sacrificed their lives for decades of Indian occupation.”
“Today, the Pakistan government reaffirms its commitment to resolving the problem of Kashmir and the right of self -determination of Jammu and Kashmira according to the resolutions of the United Nations,” he concluded.
