Pakistan warns India of ‘robust response’ to any misfortune

Islamabad:

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed its position that any misfortune of India would meet a “robust position” of Pakistan, emphasizing the country’s confidence in its defense capabilities.

“With respect to any misfortune on the part of India, our position remains very robust. We have confidence in our defense capabilities, and we hope that India will see the reason. However, if there is an attack or aggression against Pakistan, we are ready to defend ourselves,” said the spokesman of the foreign office, Shafqat Ali Khan, during a weekly media records of the media on Thursday.

He stressed that Pakistan is prepared to respond to any aggression of India, pointing out the recent demonstration of military capacity in Marka-O-HAQ, and expressed the hope that India recognizes the uselessness of his aggressive position, warning that such hegemonic impulses would not lead anywhere.

On the situation in Syria, Khan reiterated Pakistan’s full support for sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of the country, asking the international community to intervene and stop Israel’s actions that undermine peace in the region.

“Pakistan is in full solidarity with the fraternal people of Syria and reaffirms his strong support for peace and lasting stability in the country and in the region,” said the spokesman.
