Islamabad:
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed its position that any misfortune of India would meet a “robust position” of Pakistan, emphasizing the country’s confidence in its defense capabilities.
“With respect to any misfortune on the part of India, our position remains very robust. We have confidence in our defense capabilities, and we hope that India will see the reason. However, if there is an attack or aggression against Pakistan, we are ready to defend ourselves,” said the spokesman of the foreign office, Shafqat Ali Khan, during a weekly media records of the media on Thursday.
He stressed that Pakistan is prepared to respond to any aggression of India, pointing out the recent demonstration of military capacity in Marka-O-HAQ, and expressed the hope that India recognizes the uselessness of his aggressive position, warning that such hegemonic impulses would not lead anywhere.
“We have confidence in our abilities, and we have demonstrated it in the recent Marka-E-HAQ, which should be evident to all. The conclusion is that we are still ready, and we hope that India will see that Belicity and hegemonic impulses will not take it anywhere,” Khan said.
Reiterating Pakistan’s invitation to India for dialogue, he said: “Therefore, we hope that reason prevails and that they can see that the diplomacy route can lead to a situation of winning between the two countries. However, he emphasized that the decision to participate in conversations rests with India.
On the situation in Syria, Khan reiterated Pakistan’s full support for sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of the country, asking the international community to intervene and stop Israel’s actions that undermine peace in the region.
“Pakistan is in full solidarity with the fraternal people of Syria and reaffirms his strong support for peace and lasting stability in the country and in the region,” said the spokesman.

In Palestine, he condemned the continuous acts of aggression of Israel in Gaza, who have led to the death of numerous innocent civilians, including women, children and the elderly.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has once again requested the immediate and unconditional fire, the end of Israel’s actions against the Palestinians and the lifting of the blockade in Gaza to allow humanitarian aid to reach those in need.
“Pakistan condemns the continuous acts of aggression of Israeli forces in Gaza and Palestine, which leads to the death of dozens of innocent civilians,” said Khan, reiterating Pakistan’s call to an urgent international action.
