The Pakistan government, in collaboration with the Pakistani Foundation (OPF) abroad, will organize the first Paquistani convention abroad in Islamabad from April 13 to 15.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Pakistani abroad, the objective of the Convention is to give a warm welcome to the Pakistani abroad at home, listen to their concerns and incorporate their valuable suggestions in the formulation of improved policies, said Express News.
The Government has decided that all Pakistani abroad who attend the Convention will be granted the status of state guests.
Special arrangements are being made, including welcome banners and reception protocols, at airports for their arrival.
Participants will be received with all honors and respect, and public celebrations will also be held in their honor.
Under special instructions of the Prime Minister, these arrangements reflect the government’s commitment to make Pakistani abroad feel that Pakistan is really their home.
The Convention aims to provide a shared platform where Pakistani abroad, government officials and national institutions can participate under the same roof.
To facilitate this, several government departments are establishing help desks in the place to provide information, guidance and services in one place.
This initiative reflects the severity of the Pakistan government to address Pakistani’s concerns abroad and offer timely solutions.
The Convention will also invite the foreign community to actively contribute to the development trip of Pakistan and explore improvements in existing services and policies for expatriates.
Islamabad who needs a ‘world class’ exhibition center
The Minister of Finance, Muhammad Aurengzeb, said that Islamabad should have a world -class exhibition center where international merchants could exhibit their products in a better way, according to a report on the world of state PTV.
Speaking in the inaugural session of Gujranwala Expo in Islambad, the Minister of Finance said that the steps for economic stability are underway and that the government is committed to promoting economic growth based on export.
Muhammad Aurengzeb said that the economy will strengthen only by promoting exports.
He said that the exhibition gave many encourages that Pakistan has products that are internationally competitive and that they could become a global brand as we advance.
