In a spectacular celebration at the Dubai Global Village, the message “Happy New Year, Pakistan” lit up the sky, while modern drones created a stunning light show.
The exhibition was held precisely at Pakistani local time, marking the happy occasion with excitement and pride.
Pakistanis gathered at the site, chanting “Pakistan Zindabad” and celebrating the beginning of the new year. The vibrant drone show was visible from several kilometers away, making it one of the highlights of the night.
Since the New Year in Pakistan begins an hour earlier than the Dubai time zone, the festivities at Global Village were held according to Pakistan’s local time.
As the clock struck midnight in Pakistan, the sky over Dubai burst into flames with a stunning minute-long fireworks display in a range of colours, adding to the magic of the night.
Global Village, known for its celebration of global cultures, featured a wide range of international pavilions, and this year’s celebrations included seven countries: China, Thailand, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, the United Arab Emirates and Turkiye.
Fireworks were launched according to the local time zones of each of these countries, creating a truly international atmosphere that made the New Year celebrations at Global Village an unforgettable spectacle.
