Pakistani Hindus stranded in India return home


LAHORE:

A group of Pakistani Hindu families that had been stranded in India due to growing tensions between the two countries have finally returned home.

On Monday, 25 Pakistani Hindu citizens, including women and children, crossed Pakistan through the border with Wagah.

According to the sources, families belong to the district of Rahim Yar Khan and had traveled to New Delhi on February 8 to participate in religious rituals.

However, due to the tense political climate and restrictions on cross -border movement, its return was repeatedly delayed.
