Pakistanis outraged by the acts of war in India, PM tells us the best diplomats


In the midst of the relentless provocative measures of India after his reckless missile attacks against civil objectives in Pakistan, said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the United States Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, that “Pakistan reserves the right to act in self -defense.”

Prime Minister Shehbaz received a phone call from the Rubio Secretary on Thursday in which they discussed the situation evolving in the southern region of Asia, according to a statement from the Prime Minister’s office.

The development occurred on a day when Pakistan’s army neutralized 25 Harop drones supplied by Israel, called meloding ammunition, sent by India in multiple cities, including some important urban centers, in a movement that strongly increased tensions between the two neighbors with nuclear weapons.

The prime minister conveyed the strong condemnation of Pakistan for the attacks of missiles and unmanned planes of India that has led to the death of 31 civilians and damage to civil infrastructure.

“India’s attacks have violated Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, while putting peace and stability in the southern region of Asia,” he added.

Prime Minister Shehbaz reaffirmed Pakistan’s resolution firm to defend his sovereignty and territorial integrity at all costs. “The people of Pakistan are outraged by war acts not caused by India,” he also said and emphasized that Pakistan reserves the right to act in self -defense, in accordance with article 51 of the UN Charter.

The Prime Minister appreciates the concern of the president of the United States, Donald Trump, about the current security situation in southern Asia. Rubio said that the United States is closely following the situation in southern Asia, since it is committed to promoting peace and stability in the region.

He also emphasized the need for both Pakistan and India to work closely to decline the situation. Both parties agreed to remain in contact, according to the PMO statement.
