Islamabad:
According to the Ministry of Finance, formal negotiations have begun between Pakistan and the United States on mutual tariff issues.
A videoconference was held between Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurengzeb, and the ambassador of the United States commercial representative, Jamieson Greer, during which both parties exchanged their views in a constructive environment.
Both parties agreed to celebrate detailed discussions at the technical level in the coming weeks, and expressed a firm commitment to conclude the conversations successfully as soon as possible.
