The former pitcher of the Chicago White Sox, Erick Fedde, had a hilarious reaction when he found the favorite baseball team of Pope Robert Prevost.

Fedde, 32, is now a member of the Cardinals of San Luis and asked about the Fandom of Pope Leo XIV’s White Sox on Friday.

“Well, maybe he had to pray several times seeing us,” Fedde said through the New York Post.

Fedde was part of the White Sox team that was a Putrid 41-121 last season, establishing the record of most of the defeats of a team in the modern history of the MLB.

A video appeared online on Friday in the crowd with team of the white socks during the 2005 World Series when the White Sox played the Houston stars. The white socks swept the stars to win that World Series, but they have not won a series of playoffs since then.

It was rumored that the first American Pope had been a fan of the Chicago Cubs, but his brother John confirmed that Prevost is really a fan of white socks.

Fedde was one of the brilliant lonely points of the terrible team of the white socks last season. It was 7-4 in 21 openings with an effectiveness of 3.11 and was changed to the cardinals in the exchange deadline.

This season has not been much better for the white socks, which are 11-28 and already 15 games behind the first-place Detroit tigers in the central LL.

With the cardinals this season, Fedde has 3-3 with an effectiveness of 3.86. In his most recent game against Washington’s nationals, he launched a complete whiten.
