Pat Mahomes Mr., the father of the two -time MVP of the NFL Patrick Mahomes, is back in the attention center.
The old Mohamses argues that he was not responsible for a recent comment published in his social networks, which seemed to refer to the Buffalo Bills.
“Today is a great day not to be from Buffalo,” said Mohomes Sr.’s account.

The former MLB pitcher later went to his Instagram account to try to clarify the air by stating that he was the victim of a trick on social networks.

He added another statement to his Instagram account.
“Attention: Patrick Mahomes Sr.’s account has been compromised,” said Instagram’s publication. “The Mahomes family has the greatest respect for the Buffalo Bills organization and the #BillsMafia fans base. We are actively working to solve this problem. Thank you for your understanding.”
Mahomes Mr. also offered an apology in an Instagram history publication, writing: “Sorry for the misunderstanding. He would never do it.”
The account in question seems to have been moderately active in recent months after a prolonged period of practically no position that dates back to December 2022. The account has shared around six positions since June 2024.
It was not clear if any of the six most recent publications was compromised.
Some of the previous publications refer to the MLB Willie Mays icon. The baseball legend died at the age of 93 in June. The social media page also presents photos of the elderly Mohamses with his Minnesota Twins shirt and the field marshal of the bosses when he was a baby.
This is not the first time that Mohamses Mr. has appeared in the headlines. In August 2024, he declared himself guilty of a drunk driving position and was sentenced to five years of probation.
Tyler, Texas, KLTV news station reported that Mahomes Mr. would have to continue attending the anonymous meetings of Alcoholics as a condition of the agreement. He also had to turn 10 days in jail.
The police images obtained by TMZ last year showed Pat Mahomes Mr. begging the officers and mentioning their child’s name several times during an arrest in February 2024.
“Can I say one thing?” Mahomes said Mr. “My son is preparing to play at the Super Bowl.”
