Pat Mcafee was among those with ties with the world of sport he spoke after the murder of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
The former Atianpopolis Colts betr and the current media personality said that Kirk’s name was “synonymous with having the courage to speak what he believes and seeks/welcomes conversations with those with whom he does not agree with.”
While Mcafee warned that he was not inherently political, he added that the events that took place on the Campus of the University of Utah Valley left him startled and distressed.

“I am not a political person, but I am a proud American citizen and today it was surprising, sad and crazy at the same time …” Mcafee wrote in X. “I realized that I am a bit naive of the crazy one that has become everything, but seeing a man to be hunted and killed in the light of day due to his opinions made me disgust me and devastated.”
“This cannot be what we really are or become a country … I think that good people will always exceed evil people, but damn it … today was an alarming day in the history of our country.”

During the Thursday edition of “The Pat Mcafee Show” by ESPN, the 38 -year -old man reaffirmed that he is not someone firmly rooted in the political sphere, but questioned what the deadly shooting on the state of society in general says.
“I am not in the world of politics, and I know that there are much more serious things around … but in the sports lane in which I live, it is not to listen to the other side. “The great, and even legendary, Charlie Kirk, is dead. No one understood or had the heart of young people in the United States of America better than Charlie. He was loved and admired by all, especially me, and now he is not with us. Trump wrote in Truth Social.

From the fatal shooting, images of an interest person have been published, and the FBI announced a $ 100,000 reward for information that results in an arrest.
Trump also confirmed that Kirk will posthumously receive the presidential medal of La Libertad.
