Pat Mcafee, who called Canada a “terrible country” during the WWE elimination camera event on Saturday night in Toronto, continued playing in the United States neighbor to the north on Monday.

Mcafee was ridiculed by his comments, declaring in his “The Pat McAfee Show” who saw “the terrible things that were said about me.”

“Now, Canada, listening, have told me some things about the Canadians who suppose that respect for the passion you have for your country, which I hope you understand that I was showing the same for mine,” Mcafee explained in the program. “You abundant my country.”

“I understand, now, of the Canadians who have much more passion for their country than they could have imagined. Many terrible things have been said about me, and I understand it,” Mcafee continued.
“I did not say that the Canadians were terrible. I said that your country was. You abundant us. I said you were terrible. We are going to shake hands and move on. I still love the Canadians … I hope it sits.”
Mcafee also published in X after seeing the reaction he was receiving for his comments.
“I am very proud and grateful that I am from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in the United States of America … Canadians have a lot of passion for their country and I understand it … You abundant our country and said you are terrible …” Mcafee wrote in his publication.
