Kansas City bosses Field Marshal Patrick Mahomes revealed in a new docuseries that the arrest of Dwi 2024 of his father, which happened just over a week before the Super Bowl, was a moment that alters life for his father.
Patrick Mahomes Mr. was arrested in February 2024 in Tyler, Texas, for a serious crime DWI position, the third position of this type for the former MLB pitcher. The news of his arrest occurred just over a week before the bosses faced each other San Francisco 49ers In Super Bowl LVIII.

Mohomes sent several questions about his father’s arrest in the period prior to the game. But in a new ESPN documentary published on Wednesday, “Chiefs Kingdom,” Mohamses said it was the media circus that he had to face the one that served as a moment of clarity for the old Mohomes.

“It was during that Super Bowl. It became a story, so I had to answer questions about it,” Mohamses recalled, through the New York Post. “I think just knowing that it hurt that he woke him up to know that, as, you can’t keep doing the same things.”
Mahomes Mr. also appeared in the episode, qualifying the incident as “the most shameful struggle” he has faced.

“He hit a little before Super Bowl Last year, when I got into trouble. For him to have to answer questions about me, you know, it was probably the most shameful for what I have happened in my life, “he said.

“I called it right after … I said: ‘I’m sorry, I’m sorry that his time and concentration have been removed.’ … I brought a vote that I would never have to deal with anything because I drink for me.
Mohomes’ wife, Brittany, also appeared in the episode. She echoed her husband’s comments, adding that her children witnessing the struggles of Muhomes S. joined the a reality of her actions.
“I think I finally realized that, you know, ‘I have my children looking at me, I have my grandchildren who are looking at me now,” he said.

Mahomes Mr. declared himself guilty of the position in August 2024 and was ordered to spend 10 days in jail, followed by a five -year probation period. He was criminally accused of DWI on two previous occasions, including an incident on September 12, 2008 in Dakota del Sur, and another on February 26, 2019 in Smith County, Texas.
Mahomes Mr. was a pitcher for six different MLB Teams from 1992 to 2003, and was part of the 2000 of the New York Mets that arrived in the World Series.
