The round of the Ramo Mcilroy roller mountain final was the talk of the Masters, but Patrick Reed’s eagle in Hole 17 may have been the underestimated moment in the waning hours.
Reed’s second shot bounced twice and crashed into the hole. The customers of Augusta National applauded, but Reed stayed there and was perplexed since he could not see where the ball landed.

“Did that come in?” He asked his caddie.
Once he knew that the shot really entered, Reed was all smiles. The fourth round ended with a 69 and it was 9 bass for the tournament. He ended third and could see Mcilroy while facing Justin Rose in a sudden playoff of death to win the green jacket.
“Grateful for a strong end: 3rd place in Masters 2025,” he wrote on an Instagram post.
“For my family, friends and customers, thanks for always being on my corner. Thanks to Augusta National for the unwavering hospitality and for such an incredible week. I am excited about what is ahead this season!

The Liv Golf star has worked well historically in the Masters.
He won the green jacket in 2018 and has finished in the Top 10 in four of the last six teachers.
The end of Reed means that it will probably be in the PGA championship, the next important one in the calendar. His best final in the older arrived in 2017, when he tied in second place. He was tied during the 53rd last year.

“To do that was really great because you feel there and leave, hey, math could have a chance,” Reed said through the Liv Golf website. “Every time you can make an eagle and have hardware around here it is incredible. I would only have a little better to start and have a chance because my putter was cold.”
