The member of the Hall of Fame of Professional Soccer, Patrick Willis, was like the rest of the world of football when he saw the Dallas Cowboys exchange four times corridor of the Pro Bowl Micah Parsons edge with the Green Bay Packers.
I couldn’t believe it, but not because of the general shock factor.
“It baffled me a little, to be honest with you. Not so much about commerce, but it was more the fact that he went to Green Bay,” Willis told Fox Digital while discussing his association with the Athletic and his new connections: sports editing puzzle before the 2025 season of the NFL.

Willis, a seven -time Pro Bowl supporter who starred in the San Francisco 49ers, was baffled by Jerry Jones sending Parsons to Green Bay.
Willis worried about Parsons’ past injuries and now he had to play in a place where temperatures are put below freezing during the year.

“I am like, man, with the wounds that you have had to go somewhere like Green Bay, he cools,” said Willis. “It’s cold and having injuries, that is not the place you want to go.”
Of course, Parsons had no voice about where he was going, but signed a long -term extension of four years and $ 188 million to remain in Green Bay in the predictable future.
Parsons is already dealing with an injury, since ESPN reported on Monday that it may need an epidural injection to play the first team against the Detroit Lions in week 1. Parsons has all the intentions of playing, but its designation of “oppression of the back” while it was outside the training field of the cowboys was not a FIB after all.
Parsons is dealing with a sprain of Facet Facet L4/L5 on his back from now on, and also had a sprain of Atos last season that made him miss four games. He also fought against hands, knees and shoulder injuries during the 2022 season.

Unfortunately, the injuries are common in the NFL, since any player will say that fighting them is essential during the exhausting campaign. But the local Parsons field, the last four seasons, was at a climate controlled stadium: Lambeau Field is exactly the opposite.
Then, Willis believes that Parsons’ main priority will be healthy instead of circulating that confrontation of week 4 against the cowboys.
“I feel it is one of those things in which, for him, he will remain healthy,” Willis said. The whole issue is not going to be, ‘O man, I can’t wait to play that team’.
“You have to play outside. He will have many other things in mind. I am sure he will be hungry for that game when it happens. But, for him, I think the most important thing will be to stay healthy for this new team.”
Willis said he wishes Parsons nothing more than the best, and is excited to see what he can do with this new opportunity at NFC North.

How well you know your team?
Willis, together with Eli Manning and Devin Hester, associated with athletics for their new connections: Puzzle Sports Edition, where fans of each NFL team can try their experience before Gameday solving the puzzle.
“I am very excited to be part of this campaign with Atlético. It is one of those things in which I have been a puzzle since I have been a child, so to be part of this campaign, I am excited because you can try your knowledge of football,” said Willis.
