WWE executive Paul Heyman became embroiled in controversy after shoving a young fan during WWE’s Survivor Series: WarGames weekend in San Diego on November 30, 2025.
The incident occurred late Sunday afternoon, as Heyman, Logan Paul and several members of the security team headed to the arena for the post-show segment.
The viral clip shows a young fan emerging from the crowd and attempting to get close to Heyman’s chest and suit, prompting him to shoo him away.
Others nearby intervened to stop the fans and crowd as Heyman continued walking.
A fan-captured clip of the event has since been circulating on the internet, prompting a mix of reactions from fans sharing their thoughts on what happened.

“He’s an old-school tough guy. You expect me to smile and give him a hug? If I were the dad, I’d be like, ‘PAUL PUSHED YOU?!?! LUCKY!!!”
It’s all a show, friends, even when the camera is off. For professionals it only stops when they are out of sight,” commented another.
“Someone needs to teach the child about boundaries as the parents obviously haven’t,” the third user added.
Fan reactions show that most users seem to support Heyman’s reaction to the fan making physical contact with him, while some argue that the reaction was unnecessary, given the age of the young fan involved.
For the uninitiated, this is not the first time viral moments in which fans approach or touch artists have gone viral.
From Seth Rollins to Bret Hart to CM Punk, infamous fan interactions have seen fans retaliate against wrestlers or be quickly subdued by WWE security and staff.
Controversy aside, the night saw a big win for Logan Paul and his team, which included Bronson Reed, Bron Breakker, Drew Mclntyre and Brock Lesnar.
Paul Heyman subtly influenced the outcome of the match by discreetly passing Logan Paul a pair of brass knuckles.
The group later celebrated their victory, with Heyman joining the party ring.
