The legend of the Boston Celtics, Paul Pierce, will get his steps after his prediction of game 2 Celtics-Knicks ended terribly to him.

The Celtics blew an advantage of 20 points in game 1, falling to the Knicks in extra time in Boston. But Pierce, stuck with his former team, made a bold prediction before the start of game 2.

“If the Celtics lose game 2 at home, I promise you, I’m going to walk here tomorrow,” he said. “I am walking here. I am walking here 15 miles. I am walking here on my tunic, without shoes, barefoot. If the Celtics lose,” Pierce said in “Speak” of FS1, referring to a Fox studio in Los Angeles.

Pierce could have shaken his Celtics, because they blew another 20-point advantage on Wednesday night, falling to the Knicks, 91-90.

After seeing crumble to the Celtics, Pierce arrived at X to publish how far his walk would be to get to work on time.

And Pierce seemed to fulfill his promise, appearing on Instagram Live to capture himself walking towards the study, the tunic and everything.

“This is crazy, dog. I can’t believe this. C HAVE ME HERE,” Pierce said. “I’m sweating. So, I’m about four miles right now. So, do I think I have another 16 miles?”

His former teammate, Kevin Garnett, even saw him on the side of the road.

When Pierce finally arrived at Fox’s studio, he arrived inside a wheelchair after his “shame walk.”

Pierce made his bet on live television, but few Celtics fans probably thought they would blow another game as they did in game 1. However, they were ice cream from the field once again, shooting 25% from the range of 3 points.

Worse, the Celtics did not convert a basket of the field for the 8:40 finals of the last quarter, which allowed the Knicks to return at the same time as they did on Monday night.

Jalen Brunson made two clutch -free throws that gave New York an advantage of one point, and Mikal Bridges, who scored 14 points only in the last quarter to help the Knicks return, blocked a Jayson Tatum pass to seal the victory as he did on Monday night when he started the ball from Jaylen Brown’s hands.

The Knicks and the Celtics will fly again on Saturday afternoon at Madison Square Garden.
