- PayPal now comes as a built -in part of Wix Payments
- Merchants can now administer all transactions on a single board
- The new function is currently only available in the US.
The best online payment system, PayPal, and one of the best website builders, WIX, has strengthened its association with new integrations, which makes operations simpler for owners of electronic commerce websites and the easiest payments for customers.
PayPal now occurs as a incorporated part of Wix Payments, which means that merchants can connect their commercial accounts of PayPal and administer all transactions on a single board, along with other Wix payments activities. Previously, if the merchants who executed Wix websites wanted to offer PayPal as a payment gateway, they had to change between two platforms for all operations, including reports, return alerts and payments.
In addition, PayPal’s purchase money will now flow directly to the WIX payment account, providing merchants a clearer visibility about their income and reducing the need to reconcile between two systems.

Merchants can also benefit from the set of broader PayPal characteristics, such as Paypal Pay later (BNPL) and Venmo, he said. Finally, PayPal will now also serve as a payment services provider (PSP), processing card purchases within Wix payments.
“We are always looking for ways to create more perfect experiences for our users and provide them with the best way to accept payments and manage online funds, in person and on the march,” said Amit Sagiv and Volodymyr Tsukur, co-Cabeza of Wix payments.
“By bringing PayPal under the umbrella of Wix Payments, we obtain significantly more control about the user experience and how PayPal products are delivered to our merchants. This deepest integration allows us to improve conversion, offer more value and boost a stronger profitability, while providing our users with a faster and more unified payment flow.”
At the time of publication, the new integration is only available for Wix Payments users in the United States; However, the company said there are plans to make this function available in more regions “over time.”
