Peshawar:
The residents of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa kept aside their concerns about the situation of the law and order on Sunday, while marketing for markets ‘Chaand Raat’, particularly full of the bracelets and Henna’s positions on the eve of Eidul Fitr celebrations.
A vibrant and bustling scene developed through Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, especially Peshawar, like the girls, accompanied by their families, rushed to stores, adorned with colorful rays and lights. The peak of the purchase activity began after Ifar.
The girls went mass to the stalls to buy bright bracelets, vibrant clothes, perfumes and matching footwear, all in preparation for cheerful joy. In ‘Chand Raat’, it was clear that the spirit of celebration had grabbed the city.
In the heart of Peshawar, particularly in the acantonation and bustling markets of the Jinnah market, a sea of women and girls created a colorful tapestry, which makes it impossible to ignore the high demand of traditional EID accessories.
Henna and Brazaletes positions, now a permanent element in many markets, were full of emotion while buyers anxiously explored a dazzling variety of bracelets in all imaginable colors. “Buying bracelets and Henna always doubles Eid’s joy,” said Malaika Bibi, a 12 -year -old client.
For Bibi and many other girls, the tradition of spending the entire night of Chand Raat visiting markets with friends, buying accessories and hand decoration with intricate Henna designs is an appreciated ritual.
