To guarantee a festive atmosphere during the EID, the staff leaves at the Lahore Safari Zoo, Lahore Zoo and all wildlife parks in Punjab have been canceled.

The decision aims to provide continuous and entertainment services for visitors throughout the holiday period.

According to the director of the Wildlife Punjab, Mudassar Hassan, most preparations focus on Lahore Safari Park, where several special events and awareness programs on wildlife will be held. Visitors can enjoy daily shows and other entertainment activities, which will be carried out during the holidays.

This year, the Safari Park meals will remain open, allowing families and visitors to enjoy food and drinks while enjoying the festivities.

In addition, the park will remain open until late at night, allowing guests to visit their convenience. The maintenance work has been largely completed, with minor repairs that will be gradually ended in the next few days.

For the safety of visitors, the authorities have already coordinated with the Police, the Traffic Police and the ambulance services.

All necessary security measures have been established to guarantee a peaceful and safe environment for families during EID celebrations.

This decision is part of the government’s commitment to provide a fun and safe space for the people of Lahore and visitors during the festive season.

Previously, the tragic streak of the rare and valuable deaths of animals in the Lahore zoo persists, with the last victims that include a female Markhor, a dollar of James and an antelope saber.

Meanwhile, a white tigress underwent successful surgery for a fractured leg, and the birth of new animals has provided some comfort to the zoo administration.

A James’ Buck, recently imported from abroad, succumbed to an infection on Tuesday after fighting health complications for weeks due to cold weather.
