
Pete Davidson got honest on his sobriety trip.
During an appearance in the last episode of Theo von’s This last weekend Podcast, the Saturday Night Live Alum reflected on a heartbreaking conversation with her mother, Amy Waters Davidson, who helped him be sober.
“My mother is the most supportive person in the world,” Pete shared, who, according to reports, was recorded in rehabilitation at least twice last year due to mental health problems.
In addition, he said: “He reached a point where she called me when I was in rehabilitation and she said:” My greatest fear is to turn on the news and I will see that my son has died. “
Praising Amy as “as supportive,” the comedian said his mother “always wants to have positivity.”
“That killed me,” Pete said. “So I thought, ‘Very good, I can’t die until she is dead.”
