The Federal Union of Journalists of Pakistan (PFUJ), the Union of journalists Rawalpindi-Islamabad (Riuj) and the National Press Club (NPC) have expressed a serious concern for what they called a “unilateral trial” against the journalist and reporter of senior investigation in the Express PAkGazette, Shahbaz Rana, in a local Islamabad court.

The meeting condemned the actions of the Court of First Instance as a violation of the principles of fair trial. The president of PFUJ, Butt, urged the Superior Court of Islamabad to intervene immediately, emphasizing that denying an outstanding investigation journalist The right to an impartial hearing raises serious questions about the justice system and has caused a deep concern throughout the journalist community.
