Phil Mickelson is known for his incredible short game and precision around Green, but the six -time older champion shot from the abrupt with a version of Scottie Scheffler and burned for it.
In mid -March, after Joaquín Niemann won his second LIV golf tournament of the year until that moment, Mickelson turned to social networks to praise Niemann while he was digging in Scheffler.
“Top 5 (world player)? Try #1,” Mickelson published.

Scheffler was at that time and is currently the number 1 golfer in the world, but that did not stop Mickelson.
The 54 -year -old doubled in his health, saying that Scheffler, despite leaving one of the most dominant seasons in the history of PGA Tour, would not win in 2025 before the Ryder Cup at the end of September.
Scheffler had not yet won a tournament this season, since he recovered from a strange hand injury, but the 28 -year -old became nuclear in the CJ Cup Bryon Nelson tournament. Scheffler won the tournament and finished 31 under torque and tied the score record of 72 holes from the PGA Tour.

Scheffler won the tournament for eight blows, and Mickelson, with a push of former Masters champion, Trevor Immelman online, had to possess his opinion.
“So I could have been out of that,” Mickelson published with a couple of emojis laughing crying.
“Congratulations to Scottie for a great performance.”

The almost record victory was the 14th victory of the PGA Tour in Scheffler’s career. Although he had not yet won this year, Scheffler entered the tournament last weekend in Texas with five best finals, including a fourth place in the Masters.
The first victory in the Scheffler tournament of the 2025 season comes with the PGA championship just around the corner, when the tournament begins in Quail Hollow Golf & Country Club on May 15.
Mickelson will also participate in the PGA Championship, a tournament that has won twice in his career (2005, 2021).
